Films like Baahubali 2, KGF2, RRR, Kantara, and Pushpa have been massive hits on the pan-India level. While these films got the actors immense stardom across the country, they have put the lead Heros under enormous pressure. The heroes now have a massive responsibility of keeping up the momentum and making the right choice for the next project.
After KGF 2, Yash did not announce his next movie officially and took a lot of time to decide on his next project. In hindsight, it appears to be a good move considering what happened with Prabhas. Since Baahubali 2 Prabhas is yet to score a clean success. Similarly, after RRR’s success, NTR took a lot of time to go to sets for Devara. Ram Charan has Shankar’s film but both are under huge pressure as they need to make those movies as pan india successes.
For the Kantara sequel Rishab Shetty is taking more time as now the expectations are very high. And as we have all seen Pushpa 2 has a massive craze but both Allu Arjun and Sukumar are making several changes to ensure the film has a resounding success again. These changes and quest for perfection have led to several delays on the shoot. Another question in Allu Arjun’s mind is what to do after Pushpa 2 and which director can deliver a pan India blockbuster next for him. All the Heros are more or less in the same boat trying to sustain their pan-India stardom.
