Tollywood film industry in fact every film Industry is effected badly due to Covid -19. A lot of efforts have been and are being made to recover back. Some efforts are fruitful whereas some efforts impact even worse. The OTT platforms changed the face of cinema in many terms. In Covid people used for the OTT content. And then the rise of ticket prices helped the OTT platforms.

People got used to watch movies on OTT. And hiked ticket prices made them think twice before stepping out for a theatre. The big budget films RRR, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Bheemla Nayak survived at the box office with hiked ticket prices. But small movies got washed out due to ticket prices and OTT mania.
