Adah Sharma and the “The Kerala Story” team had to join the Hindu Ekta Yatra in Karimnagar over the weekend. But after a car accident, the event was called off. Adah’s fans were worried and contacted the actress for her health update, and Adah went on to Twitter to confirm it was all well.
On Sunday night, Adah tweeted, “I’m fine guys. Getting a lot of messages because of the news circulating about our accident. The whole team, all of us are fine, it’s nothing serious, nothing major, but thank you for the concern.” The director of the film, Sudipto Sen also informed about his health.
Despite calls for bans and strong criticism from a few sections of. people, ‘The Kerala Story’ is having a fantastic run at the box office. The film witnessed a massive jump in. its collections on the second weekend and has scored a total business of Rs 136.74 crore net, at the domestic box office.
Starring Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani and Sonia Balani, The Kerala Story was earlier officially described as the story of more than 32,000 Kerala women who have been allegedly been radicalized by Islamic fundamentalists. However, the number was changed to three from 32,000 after protests spread online stating that misinformation was being spread by the makers.
The Kerala Story movie revolves around Shalini Unnikrishnan (Adah Sharma), Nimah (Yogita Bihani), and Siddhi Idnani (Geetanjali), who share their room with Asifa (Sonia Balani) in a nursing college in Kasargod, Kerala. Asifa, who is an aide to ISIS, how indoctrinates and brainwashes the three girls and converts them to Islam and what happens to them is the main crux of the movie.
