Tamil Actor, Vijay’s upcoming film, The GOAT shoot is under progress and aiming for release on 5th September. The film’s hype has been lowered down due to the poor songs released till now. The GOAT’s UK and Ireland bookings have been opened and the film’s performance is not upto the mark. The GOAT is surely falling short of Vijay’s previous film, Leo.
Leo took a sensational start at the box office. It was also the first 100cr+ opener for Tamil Film Industry. The total worldwide opening day gross was nearly 150 crores. The film gathered big hype due to the comibation of Vijay and Director Lokesh Kanagaraj who was riding high with his Vikram‘s blockbuster success.
The GOAT’s Bookings Opened:
In UK, the film has sold around 3000 tickets in 24 hours. The bookings look normal and good but not great when compared to Leo which sold around 10K+ tickets in 24 hours.
The GOAT trailer is Key:
The promotional content of the film as said has not worked big till now and failed to create the buzz. Now all eyes are on the trailer which should live up to the expectations. The trailer must also raise hype from the audiences for a big buzz for the film. It is learned that the team is preparing to release the trailer on Independence Day.
