The 1000 Crores deal of Pushpa 2 was just a publicity stunt?

For the past few days there has been much news about the 1000 Crores deal for Pushpa theatrical rights, but the reality appears to be different from it. It is true that Pushpa 2 is getting crazy offers from Hindi, but the same cannot be said for Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam languages.

Even in Telugu also, the distributors are not in a hurry to offer many record prices for Pushpa 2 as the first part of Pushpa did not generate any great numbers at the box office. The team of Pushpa is trying to create some fake buzz to prove the movie has an immense craze in every language and hence this kind of news of record prices for theatrical rights are doing rounds in the media.

Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa The Rise which was released in 2021 December, was a blockbuster hit and collected over 300 Crores Gross Worldwide. The film was surprise hit in Hindi, and the north Indian audience was eagerly waiting for the Pushpa sequel. So Sukumar and team are putting all their efforts to make Pushpa The Rule look bigger and heavier than the first part.

In the meantime, there were some news emerged that Allu Arjun is reportedly demanding over 1000 crores for the theatrical rights of pushpa sequel. A few Bollywood Trade Circles shared the news and informed that RRR’s theatrical business was grossed over Rs 900 crore in all languages combined, and Allu Arjun is demanding over 1000 crores for Pushpa 2, which is sensational.

The news went viral, and it led to the quarrel between fans and anti fans of Allu Arjun on social media. However, as we mentioned above, the 1000 Crores deal is not true and as of now there is no official update on the business of Pushpa 2.
