Nithin’s Thammudu was released in theaters the first week of July and opened to unanimous negative reviews. The film failed to even meet the minimum box office collections. Now, Thammudu goes live on OTT.
Due to not-so-encouraging buzz and negative WOM/reviews, the emotional action drama did not find big audiences in theaters. Streaming giant Netflix acquired the digital rights of the film for a good price.

Nithin’s Thammudu is now available on OTT and can be streamed on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
The film’s digital rights were initially bought by another top OTT platform, Prime Video, but later it moved on to Netflix. Dil Raju, the film’s producer, is said to have made a good OTT deal, which will give some relief from the losses.
Let us hope that the Sriram Venu directorial impresses the OTT viewers unlike the theatrical audiences.
