Thalapathy Vijay officially bids goodbye to cinema with Jana Nayagan

The Jana Nayagan Grand Audio launch event happened in Malaysia yesterday, where Thalapathy Vijay enthralled his fans with his speech dance and officially said that he bids goodbye to cinema with this film.

Vijay said Malaysia feels as close to his heart as Sri Lanka and praised Tamils for preserving their culture wherever they go. He thanked Malaysian Tamils for their immense support of Tamil cinema and expressed pride in seeing people from different communities respect and embrace Tamil culture.

He recalled Malaysia as a special market and shooting destination, with films like Billa, Kuruvi, and Kaavalan holding a unique place because of the love received.

Reflecting on his 33-year journey in cinema filled with struggles and criticism, he thanked his fans for standing by him from day one and said he has stepped away from cinema to dedicate the next 30–33 years to standing with the people, believing in giving back with gratitude.

Vijay also says his trademark kutty story with some valuable points to fans and did one last dance on stage for the Thalapathy Kacheri song. Vijay officially said that this is his last film at the event and says goodbye to cinema.
