It’s now official. Superstar Rajinikanth will team up with director Sundar C for his next film, titled #Thalaivar173. The film will be produced by Kamal Haasan under the Raaj Kamal Films International banner.
This big-budget project is scheduled to release in theaters during Pongal 2027. The full cast and crew details will be announced soon.
Director Sundar C previously worked with Rajinikanth on the blockbuster Arunachalam (1997). He also directed the critically acclaimed Anbe Sivam (2003), starring Kamal Haasan and R. Madhavan. Though Anbe Sivam didn’t perform well at the box office initially, it later gained cult status and is now considered a classic.
Fans are thrilled about this collaboration between two legends, Rajinikanth as the lead and Kamal Haasan as the producer, with Sundar C at the helm for #Thalaivar173. Expectations are sky-high, and audiences are hoping for nothing less than a massive blockbuster.
