Dhanush’s fourth Hindi film, Tere Ishk Mein, co-starring Kriti Sanon and directed by A.L. Anand Rai, hit 100 Cr worldwide in 6 days. The film is maintaining a better-than-expected hold on weekdays. Now, it is chasing Raayan (150 Cr) to become Dhanush’s biggest grosser.
The film’s music created a proper buzz before the release, thanks to the beautiful compositions by the Oscar-winning A.R. Rahman. Though some of the critics had various opinions on his work, the audience lapped up his music with love.
Dhanush already scored a 100 Cr gross with Kuberaa this year, and now he does the same with Tere Ishk Mein. Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is releasing tomorrow in theaters, and the film’s word of mouth will decide Tere Ishk Mein’s run in the coming days.
But with this trend, Tere Ishk Mein will easily cross Raayan, and the trade expects the film to have a good 2nd weekend and a solid long run.
