Tamil People’s Insecurity and Dislike Towards Sandeep Reddy Vanga

Sandeep Vanga responds to harsh criticism on Animal movie from certain media. Sandeep Reddy Vanga stated that he had expected the criticism his new film, Animal, received. During an interview, Vanga said he would discuss his forthcoming projects with actor Ranbir Kapoor. He was confident that the backlash against his previous film, Kabir Singh, would be multiplied with his current project, Animal. The director identified his critics and recommended that they teach English in China because he sees little value in their reviews beyond their use of the language. At the same time, he referred to them as illiterate and uneducated.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor, despite being a massive blockbuster, has received some intense reactions from critics and even industry insiders. Naturally, in any industry, there will be multiple sections of people and opinions. After the release of Animal last December, a section of people in all industries felt it was a cult film, while others had other opinions.

The film did wonders at the Box office and made Sandeep Reddy Vanga a pan-Indian brand. One section where the film got particularly negative talk was from the Tamil netizen. Right from day 1, a strong negative talk was spread on social media, and to many, it appeared to stem out of insecurity about Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Some Tamil audiences who liked the film faced severe backlash when they praised Animal and Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Trisha, who posted a positive review about Animal saw an immediate online attack which led to the actress deleting the post.

Recently, in an award event, Sivakarthikeyan stated that he liked Sandeep Vanga’s films and song-taking and selection. The Tamil actor further added that he enjoyed the director’s interviews as he is original. These statements did not go down well with a lot of Tamil audiences who lashed out at Sivakarthikeyan as well. These actions are a clear sign of Tamil netizens’ insecurity on Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
