Tamil audiences are stopping Salaar from crossing Baahubali

Tamil audiences are stopping Salaar from crossing Baahubali. Excluding Tamil Nadu Baahubali first part's Gross is 520 Cr and Salaar Gross is also 520 Cr now. But Baahubali had collected 80Cr in Tamil Nadu whereas Salaar managed to gather just 20 Cr. So the 60Cr difference between Salaar and Baahubali is stopping the former in reaching the latter. To cover the gap, the Hindi and Telugu version's numbers are key from today for Salaar.

Tamil audiences are stopping Salaar from crossing Baahubali. It is widely known that Prabhas’s journey as a Pan Indian star had started with SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Beginning. The film was not only a hit in the Telugu states, but it was also successful in other parts of India. The Tamil Nadu performance was also crucial in the film’s massive success. Strangely, Tamil audiences are stopping Salaar from crossing Baahubali.

Baahubali Part 1 Closing Gross is 600Cr, and currently Salaar movie’s Gross stands at 540Cr and a 60Cr difference stands between both the films. Now to reach Baahubali the film should have a good long run in Hindi and Telugu for 2 more weeks.

Prashanth Neel’s action drama Salaar could have easily broken the records of Baahubali if the Tamil audiences had encouraged it. In Telugu, Hindi, and Kerala Salaar has already crossed Baahubali 1. Even though there is much difference between Salaar and Baahubali 1 in Karnataka, it has been covered by the lead Salaar got in other territories.
