Both Uppena and Virupaksha are massive blockbusters at the box office, and they have brought 200% returns to the buyers. In reality, both the films have ended up around 90 Crores Gross, but the team has officially released a 100 Crores poster. If we go into the past, even in Uppena movie’s success meet Sukumar had mentioned it will cross 100 Crores mark. It looks like Sukumar is so fascinated with the 100 Crores mark.
However, a section of netizens is not finding any with the hyped numbers of Uppena and Virupaksha. They say that it is common for producers to exaggerate or hype the collections of a hit movie. Another point to be noted is that both Uppena and Virupaksha have come very close to the magical figure of 100 Crores, so the makers of these films adding a few numbers to show record figures is not such a bad practice.
