Pushpa 2’s final success event, the thanks meet, happened on Saturday, with all the distributors, Cast, and Crew present. Director Sukumar gave a heartfelt speech during the event, and the fans are sharing the speech happily as Sukumar Confirms DSP for RC17.
According to Sukumar, Pushpa was never planned as a two-part film, and after seeing the three-hour footage of the first half of Pushpa 1, everything changed with a risky decision, and a miracle happened. For his success from Rangasthalam, the creative director credited the production house, Mythri Movies for giving him the freedom to do whatever he wanted without any restrictions.
While talking about DSP (Devi Sri Prasad) Sukumar said “I have never done a film without Devi Sri Prasad, and I will not do one in the future without DSP either.”. With this, everyone got clarity that there are no issues between the filmmaker and music director, and the netizens are making this speech viral, as Sukumar Confirms DSP for RC17.
There have been rumors about Pushpa 2: The Rule’s music, and definitely some issues happened regarding the film’s Background music score. It was said that Sam CS, Thaman, and Ajaneesh Lokanath were roped in to provide background music in the place of DSP as he could not handle work pressure at that time.
There was also a piece of news that Sukumar may work with other music directors after Pushpa 2. However, the filmmaker confirmed that he will not do a film without DSP in the future. So it is almost certain that Devi Sri Prasad will compose the music for RC 17. The movie is likely to go on set this year-end.
