Sujeeth’s Direction in OG – A Mixed Bag

Sujeeth did not impress fully as a director for OG Sujeeth only successful as a fan in showing Pawan Kalyan. Due to this factor, the film did not have the expected massive trend after opening day. It sees a decent hold after opening day due to the hero's star power. Pulling off this kind of film is not easy, but Pawan Kalyan has made it possible. The movie is heading towards 300 cr gross in its full run, which is a huge number. But definitely if Sujeeth's direction for OG had balanced both style and substance, the film's numbers could have been at least 50% higher than the current numbers. Due to this limitation, only the Telugu buyers have still not achieved breakeven.

After Attarintiki Daredi, Pawan Kalyan fans are thrilled with OG, and the credit goes to director Sujeeth for showcasing their favorite hero on screen in the most impressive way. However, Sujeeth’s direction for OG gives a mixed bag of reactions.

In the film, Pawan Kalyan looks dashing in every frame, and the way his character is elevated is a true treat for fans. This impressive presentation has created a massive buzz and ensured a strong opening for the movie.

For neutral audiences, OG didn’t fully satisfy expectations, as the emotional aspects of the film fell flat. Even some fans struggled to connect with the backstory of Pawan Kalyan and Priyanka Mohan, and the story and presentation had numerous flaws.

OG: Sujeeth Could not impress fully as a director

Because of this factor, the film didn’t achieve the anticipated massive trend after its opening day. However, it managed to maintain a decent hold thanks to the hero’s star power. Pulling such kind of a film like this is no easy task, but Pawan Kalyan made it happen. The movie is heading towards 300 Cr gross in its full run, which is a huge number.

If Sujeeth’s direction for OG had managed to strike a better balance between style and substance, the film’s numbers could have been at least 50% higher than they currently are. Because of this shortcoming, the Telugu buyers still haven’t reached breakeven.

If the film catered to all audiences, then for that buzz, the break-even would have been achieved in the 1st week itself in all territories.
