The all-India rights of Vishwak Sen’s next ‘Mechanic Rocky’ and Sree Vishnu’s ‘Swag’ have been bought by Asian Suresh Entertainments. Surprisingly Sree Vishnu’s Swag rights have been acquired for 10% higher than Vishwak Sen’s Mechanic Rocky.
Both the actors need a big blockbuster like a 50 Cr grosser film. Recently, both have seen decent successes but did not have massive blockbusters. Compared to Sree Vishnu, Vishwak Sen’s films are opening well but the issue with Vishwak Sen films is that they are struggling to work on weekdays after 1st weekend.
Sree Vishnu last delivered a hit in the form of Samajavaragamana in 2023 while his last film Om Bheem Bush was a box office failure. On the other hand, Vishwak Sen’s Gaami and Gangs of Godavari received decent success but fell short of being a major hit. With both the heroes making a move toward commercial entertainers, it would be interesting to see if they can score a much elusive major hit.
