Bigg Boss Telugu 10 has delivered its first double elimination of the season. Wild card contestant Apoorva and Charan have both been eliminated in the fifth week after receiving the fewest votes from the audience. For Charan, this is his second exit from the house, while Apoorva’s journey ended in less than three weeks.
Apoorva: From Wild Card to Captain to Exit
Apoorva entered the house on Day 19 along with Mithilesh as a wild card entry in the third week. She made a strong start and quickly became the house captain. But her captaincy itself turned into a problem. During the fifth week nominations, housemates like Mukesh and Varshini questioned the way she handled her duties as captain, and her heated arguments with Thrigun also became a big talking point.
The nominations drama made her one of the most discussed contestants of the week, but that attention did not turn into enough audience votes.
Charan: Second Chance Comes to an End
Charan’s story in Bigg Boss Telugu 10 has been full of ups and downs. He was the first contestant to leave the house, evicted by housemates’ votes on Day 4 in a surprise mid-week eviction. The audience then gave him a second chance through the Power of People twist, and he returned to the house on Day 11.
But the comeback did not last long. Charan was in the bottom two with Srishti in the fourth week and survived, but questions about his game kept following him. In the fifth week, he finally ran out of luck and was eliminated along with Apoorva.
Who Were Nominated in Week 5?
The fifth week nominations were held through the Road to Reload task. Apoorva, Thrigun, Aman, Rohit, Shalini, Ram Prasad and Charan entered the nominations, and the final list grew to 10 names with Mukesh, Naresh and Jhansi also facing the public vote. Jhansi used her Eviction-Free power key to stay safe this week.
Rohit led the voting all week, while Ram Prasad, Aman and Thrigun were also in a comfortable position. Apoorva, Charan, Shalini, Naresh and Mukesh were in the danger zone, with Apoorva and Charan finally ending up at the bottom.
Bigg Boss Telugu 10 Eliminations So Far
The season started on September 6 with 16 contestants. Here is the full list of exits so far:
- Week 1: Charan and Chaitra Rai were evicted by housemates’ votes in surprise mid-week evictions. Charan later returned to the house through a public vote.
- Week 2: Krishnudu was evicted after getting the fewest votes.
- Week 3: Wild card entry Mithilesh walked out of the house with the ₹15 lakh briefcase on just his third day.
- Week 4: Srishti Vyakaranam was eliminated after ending up in the bottom two with Charan.
- Week 5: Apoorva and Charan eliminated in a double elimination.
