Sivakarthikeyan Approaches High Court ?

Sivakarthikeyan moves to the Madras High Court

While the fans await the theatrical release of Parasakthi, the next film of Sivakarthikeyan, it is being reported that the actor has approached the Madras High Court to settle a payment dispute regarding his old movie.

Tamil media buzz suggests that Sivakarthikeyan has moved the Madras High Court over an alleged payment dispute amounting to nearly ₹15 crore. Reports doing the rounds claim that the actor has accused producer Gnanavel Raja of failing to clear the remaining ₹4 crore remuneration for Mr. Local.

Though a contract was reportedly signed in 2018 for a total payment of ₹15 crore, sources say the full amount was never settled even after the film’s release in 2019. Sivakarthikeyan is said to have received only 11 Cr for the film now and has not received the balance 4 Cr yet. An official confirmation from either side is still awaited.
