Simbu discharged from hospital after viral infection

Silambarasan T.R, who is fondly referred to as Simbu was admitted to a hospital in Chennai due to a viral infection.

Simbu was admitted to the hospital on 11th December due to fever and throat infection. Doctors have stated that it is not COVID-19 and that, it is just a viral infection.

Fans will be delighted to note that Simbu has now been discharged from the hospital and is recovering actively.

Simbu was recently appreciated by movie lovers for his amazing performance alongside S J Suryah in Maanaadu. It was a comeback film for him after shedding a lot of weight.

Simbu is a hard-working actor who has always been open about his struggles. He stated in an interview recently that during the shooting of a chase sequence in a movie, he couldn’t even run due to his weight. The actor then made a conscious decision to work on himself.

Simbu will immediately join the sets of Vendhu Thanindathu Kaadu after his recovery. The actor will be playing the role of a low caste youngster who has to rebel to survive and fight for his caste. Gautham Vasudev Menon will be directing the film.
