King Nagarjuna announces the ‘Shiva’ 4K Dolby re-release date on his father Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s 101st birth anniversary: ‘A Tribute to ANR’s Dream of Keeping Stories Alive for the Next Generation’
Shiva, which was released in 1989, was produced by Annapurna Studios, backed by producers Akkineni Venkat and Surendra Yarlagadda. Shiva is regarded as one of the greatest Indian films of all time, which redefined Indian cinema into the ‘Before Shiva’ and ‘After Shiva’ eras.
Finally, Nagarjuna announces Shiva 4K Release Date
Nagarjuna says, “My father always believed cinema had the power to live beyond generations, and Shiva was one such film. Bringing it back to the big screen on 14th November in a completely new avatar of 4K Dolby Atmos is a tribute to his dream of keeping stories alive forever.”
The film will hit the big screens in stunning 4K and with immersive Dolby Atmos sound, which has never been done for any re-released film before. The sound of ‘Shiva’ has been completely remastered from the original mono mix to the latest Dolby Atmos using the most advanced AI technologies.
