The Christmas winner Shambala, which proved to be a turning point in actor Aadi Saikumar’s career, achieved sensational success in theatres and it is now streaming on OTT, Aha Video.
Powered by strong content, the film achieved success at the box office and is now creating interest on the digital field as well. Instead of the previously announced January 22 release, Shambhala began streaming a day earlier, from January 21, on Aha Video, for Gold subscribers. The regular subscribers will be able to stream it from tomorrow.
Aadi Saikumar, the son of senior actor Saikumar, has been waiting for a solid hit for a long time. By choosing diverse and unconventional stories, he has consistently tried to expand his range as an actor, and Shambala has finally given him that much-needed breakthrough. Released in theatres in late December during the Christmas season, the film exceeded expectations and emerged as a surprise blockbuster at the box office.
Shambhala Plot Details
Set in the 1980s, the story takes place in a village called Shambala, where a mysterious meteorite falling from the sky throws village life into chaos. The film engagingly presents a series of murders and strange incidents, highlighting the clash between science and blind beliefs. Aadi Saikumar received positive response for his performance as Vikram. Archana Iyer and Swasika played key roles, while the film was directed by Yugandhar Muni.
