Shahrukh Khan’s Pathaan achieved another milestone for Bollywood

Pathaan is a spy action thriller directed by director Siddharth Anand starring Bollywood Badshah, King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan. Since its theatrical release, the film has been showing a stronghold at the box office with no drop and has been collecting massive collections. The film gathered another Rs 1.2 crore net on Monday. Today it has reached the milestone of 500 crore net in India.

The film will be the first straight Hindi to enter the Rs 500 crore club. Overall, after Baahubali 2 (Hindi Version), it will be the second film that has joined the 500 crore club in the North.

It’s not that the film performed well only on holidays. It had an equally impressive run on weekdays as well and has been registering housefuls in some areas on working days as well. Several Bollywood releases like Kartik Aryan’s Shehzada have postponed their releases looking at Pathaan’s phenomenal run at the box office.

Shahrukh Khan with Pathaan has marked one of the best-ever comebacks for a star hero. After a long gap, he scored a big hit with this film. The movie has already carried out many records and now this action thriller has accomplished one more milestone by collecting 500 crores.

Pathaan has also become only the fifth Indian film to gross 1000 crores worldwide and the 2nd Bollywood film to do so. By achieving this feat, Pathaan has joined the elite list of other Indian blockbusters such as Dangal, Baahubali2, KGF2 and RRR.

Pathaan is a part of YRF Spy Universe, which includes the Tiger franchise featuring Salman Khan and the War franchise with Hrithik Roshan. This action thriller also had added star power in the form of Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
