After making a grand comeback on the silver screen after 4 years with Pathaan, Bollywood badshah, the King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to release his upcoming action entertainer Jawan. This time he teamed up with the Tamil director Atlee who is well known for making the commercial films on a grand scale. The film is just about 3 weeks away from its release, and it has done a superb theatrical business worldwide.
Jawan has been sold for huge prices in all territories. The North India rights have said to be sold around 135Cr and the South India rights are valued at 65Cr. Overall, the India rights stand at around 200Cr and the Overseas rights were sold at 105Cr which makes the total theatrical business to 305Cr. Also, the non-theatrical rights of Jawan have been sold at huge prices. Audio + Digital + Satellite rights are valued more than 230 Cr. Overall, the film fetched a whopping amount which is close to 550Cr for the producer through the pre-release business.
Jawan, the film consists of a stellar star cast and the recently released preview promised stunning action episodes. The dialogues uttered by Shah Rukh Khan in the video were really superb. With star actors like SRK, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone (in a special appearance), the film is sure to bring the audience to the theaters. The music by Anirudh Ravichander in the film’s teaser/preview was very much appreciated, and the two songs released by the team have been liked by the fans as well.
Jawan was previously slated to be released on June 2. However, the date was changed because of the delay in the VFX. Thereafter, it was rumored that the film will see an August release, but eventually the makers decided to release the film on. September 7. The film will also be released in Telugu, and Tamil alongside Hindi.
