Shah Rukh Khan and Rajinikanth make a solid comeback in 2023. The two Superstars of Indian Cinema, Shah Rukh Khan and Rajinikanth were unable to put massive numbers with their films for long years. But both of them had tasted big success this year. Shah Rukh Khan and Rajinikanth make a solid comeback in 2023.
Shah Rukh khan started this year with Pathaan and he scored an industry hit in the Hindi language, and it became the first film to collect 1000Cr+ Gross in Hindi. Also in India, Pathaan broke Baahubali 2 Hindi net and finally emerged as an all-time blockbuster at the box office.
With his second film, Jawan SRK again broke his records and put bigger numbers than Pathaan. Even though his third film, Dunki failed to put that many bigger numbers, it is also expected to go closer to 500Cr Gross worldwide. So, in total, Shah Rukh Khan’s movies have collected more than 2500 Cr in a single year, which is a sensational feat.
The same goes with Superstar Rajinikanth. Recently, he continuously faced failures with his films. Petta was decent, but it did not put Rajinikanth range numbers, nor it did not create any records at the box office.
Moreover, his film with Shankar, 2 Point 0, did not do great numbers in the Tamil market. Finally, he gave a solid comeback with Jailer and broke all the records in Tamil Cinema and became the first film to collect more than 500Cr Gross and in Telugu also the film collected close to 100Cr Gross. Jailer also collected 625Cr Gross worldwide and it ls the top Grosser of this year along with being a record profitable film for sun pictures.
Rajinikanth proved his box office stamina with Jailer and likewise Shah Rukh Khan also had a great year with Pathaan and Jawan.
