However, the Eid slot might not be a solo run this time. Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is also eyeing the same release window, setting the stage for a potential box-office clash. The film stars Prabhas, who will be seen playing a cop for the first time in his career, adding to the curiosity around the project.
With Tripti Dimri as the female lead, Spirit has already generated strong buzz, especially after its early promotional material received an encouraging response from fans and the media. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for Arjun Reddy and Animal, brings a proven track record of delivering intense, character-driven narratives that resonate with mass audiences.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Prabhas has faced a Bollywood heavyweight at the box office. In 2023, Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel, clashed with Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Despite the competition, Salaar emerged as the stronger performer, reinforcing Prabhas’s pan-India box-office dominance.
