Salaar South Indian languages OTT deal is closed

Prabhas not giving 100% effort post Baahubali

The postponement of the release of Salaar: Part 1 was disappointing for Prabhas’ fans as well as the entire film fraternity. People were eager to witness the collusion between Brand Baahubali and Brand KGF on the big screen. The film was widely expected to be the biggest mass entertainer for both Prabhas and Prashanth Neel. Unfortunately, the 28th September release has been postponed, and other films have been rushing to block what would have been a terrific release. Meanwhile, the film’s South Indian languages OTT deal is closed.

Salaar movie’s Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages’ digital rights have been bagged by the OTT giant, Netflix for a record price as per the reports. Netflix has recently started acquiring the rights of South Indian films more often.

There were so many dates for the possible release of this actioner and the inside news is the makers are eying the Christmas release as one of the options. Now the makers of Salaar are hoping for the film, Dunki to be postponed as SRK’s latest film Jawan has been released recently and normally, there will be some gap maintained between the big heroes films.

Salaar is being directed by KGF Series maker Prashanth Neel film. The film stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Easwari Rao in key roles. Ravi Basrur is the music director of the film.
