Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana?

If the inside reports are to be believed, renowned actress Sai Pallavi could take the place of the National Award winner, Alia Bhatt’s place as Sita alongside Ranbir and Yash in the upcoming adaptation of the Epic Ramayan which will be directed by Nitesh Tiwari. This project has been able to get massive buzz even before the start of filming because of the star cast.

Alia Bhatt, who has been on a successful streak, was expected to play Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan. However, the inside reports suggest that the actress has chosen not to participate in the highly anticipated project and that is why the makers went to Sai Pallavi. Alia, Ranbir Kapoor, and Yash were believed to be involved in the movie in the lead roles.

It was also reported that the makers had approached KGF Star Yash before for the Ravana role and the news came out that he rejected the offer but now as per the latest buzz, it is being reported that Yash is still a part of the film, and he seems to be interested to do this biggest project.

It is understandable that a masterpiece like Ramayan requires time and well involved pre-production work, and that is why the makers are careful regarding every small detail. This is the reason things are moving at a slower pace. Moreover, as far as the casting is concerned, Ranbir Kapoor is still committed to playing Lord Ram, while Alia Bhatt who also happens to be Ranbir’s wife, is no longer part of it. The actress was in talks for the role of Goddess Sita, but the collaboration did not happen due to the dates issues.
