SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR’s rights have been sold to Jayantilal Gada’s Pen International for a never before amount. The North Indian rights, as well as the electronic, satellite, and digital rights of the film, have been acquired by Pen Studios.

Total theatrical rights of the movie is expected to be in the range of Rs 550 crores. This means the movie will have to collect Rs 570 crores share in order to achieve a breakeven status. The gross target subsequently would be Rs 1000 crores.
Interestingly, only two movies in Indian film history have collected beyond Rs 1,000 crores Bahubali-2 and Dangal. Bahubali 2 is also the only movie to collect Rs 500 crores share. A target that RRR must achieve to end up being profitable.
