Here’s another milestone for SS Rajamouli’s RRR in Japan. The film which registered 1 million footfalls in the easternmost country has now hit another massive benchmark which very few had expected.
RRR has now collected Rs 100 crore in Japan. After India and America, Japan has now become the 3rd country to collect more than 100Cr gross. No one expected this range of collections at the release time and the film has surpassed all expectations in terms of popularity.
Already, RRR has registered its name as the most successful Indian film in Japan. The next two films are Rajinikanth’s Muthu which is followed by Baahubali. The film was released back in October 2022 and has been at the top of the popularity charts ever since. RRR was widely promoted in the country and Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and SS Rajamouli were present during the Japanese premieres and attended several events.
