Rishab Shetty adopted a government school in his birthplace. A Kannada government school in his hometown, Keradi, in southern Karnataka, received money from Rishab Shetty, who directed and acted in the Pan-Indian film Kantara. Rishabh Shetty adopted a government school in his birthplace. 

Through the Rishab Shetty Foundation, launched earlier this year, the actor-filmmaker supported the school, as reported by one of his team members. Not only the Kannada audiences but everyone appreciates Rishab Shetty as he has adopted a government school in his birthplace.

A photograph of the actor taken at the village event has become popular online. Shetty may be seen chatting with the village officials and conversing with the other locals attending the function. The actor dressed traditionally, wearing a plain black shirt with a white lungi.

The exciting thing is, in 2018, Rishab Shetty’s hit film Hi.Pra.Shaale raised awareness about the plight of Kannada schools. The film won the National Award for Best Children’s Film.
