Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is always the life of the party. His energy and sense of humour need no introduction. Whether it is on-screen or off-screen he lights up the atmosphere with his comic timing and energy. However, these were missing from Ravi Teja’s speech at the Khiladi pre-release event. It was quite evident from the body language and the actor’s tone that he was unhappy with something.
There have been reports of the actor being unhappy with the director Ramesh Varma and producer Koneru Satyanarayana. The reason for this is the prolonged time taken by the duo to finish the project. Khiladi was supposed to release last year. However, partially due to Covid and to some extent due director delays, the film couldn’t hit the screens in 2021.
Ravi Teja’s displeasure was quite evident with the way he ignored speaking much about Ramesh Varma at the event. Usually, a lot is spoken about the director at such events. But, the Mass Maharaja chose not to speak much and moved on to others. In the case of producer Koneru Satyanarayana, he spoke a lot and even appreciated the producer’s honesty and integrity. However, there was a word of caution for the producer towards the end.
Ravi Teja requested the producer to be more involved in the filmmaking process. He asked him to be present on the sets as much as possible. “By being involved more, you will understand more things and will be able to see what you’re supposed to see,” said the actor.
What further cemented the rumours of Ravi Teja’s displeasure was the way he received scriptwriter Srikanth Vissa. The Mass Maharaja spoke in great detail about the writer and appreciated the talented writer to no end. He even stated that the only thing he has to thank director Ramesh Varma is for introducing such a great talent like Srikanth to him.
