At the pre-release event of Game Changer in Rajamahendravaram, actor Ram Charan expressed heartfelt gratitude to the fans and dignitaries who graced the occasion. Recalling the city’s significance, he mentioned the massive rally held years ago by his uncle, Pawan Kalyan.
Ram Charan thanked Pawan Kalyan for taking time out of his busy schedule to attend the event. “We filmed Game Changer in this city for several days. I feel privileged to have him here, along with the cinematography minister and other distinguished guests,” he said, adding that his nervousness was keeping him from speaking at length.
Addressing the film’s title, he said, “I’m not sure why Shankar sir named it Game Changer, but it perfectly reflects its essence. While I play a game changer on screen, we all know the real game changer in Indian politics is Pawan Kalyan garu.” Ram Charan lauded Pawan Kalyan’s dedication to public welfare, expressing pride in being part of his family.
He also praised director Shankar’s knack for creating characters inspired by real-life figures, hinting that Pawan Kalyan might have influenced the protagonist’s characterization. Bowing before his uncle, Ram Charan conveyed his admiration and promised to address the audience at greater length in the future.
Ending on a warm note, he acknowledged the presence of the Deputy CM and Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming speech, stating, “I too want to listen to them.” The event highlighted both the bond between the two actors and their shared respect for cinema and public service.
