Rakshit Shetty is enjoying himself with the success of his recently released Kannada film, ‘Sapta Sagardaache Ello: Side A’. During the promotions, a YouTuber inquired if he still is in contact with Rashmika Mandanna. For those unfamiliar, Rakshit and Rashmika Mandanna were engaged in 2017. However, the couple broke off the engagement.
In the Kannada film ‘Kirik Party’, Rashmika Mandanna and Rakshit Shetty collaborated for the first time. According to reports, the couple fell in love during the filming. Even the fans wanted to see them as real life partners.
A grand ceremony was held in 2017 where Rashmika and Rakshit got engaged. Sadly, due to unknown reasons, the engagement in 2018 was cancelled. Rakshit revealed that he is still in touch with Rashmika during a recent interview during the promotion of ‘Sapta Sagardaache Ello: Side A’.
Rakshit said, “Yes, Rashmika and I are still in touch. She had a big dream in the world of cinema. Accordingly, she is moving towards that dream. She has the will to achieve the task she set out to do. We should pat her on the back for her achievement.”
On September 22, Rakshit Shetty’s ‘Sapta Sagardaache Ello: Side A’ was released in Telugu as ‘Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati’. The makers are planning to translate it into Malayalam, Tamil, and other languages too. The second installment of ‘Sapta Sagardaache Ello: Side B’ is expected to be released in theaters in October third week. In the pipeline, he is working on ‘Richard Antony’ and ‘Punyakoti’ as well.
Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna is eagerly awaiting the release of ‘Animal’, which features Ranbir Kapoor and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Currently, she is shooting for Allu Arjun’s much awaited ‘Pushpa: The Rule’. She also has a woman oriented film, ‘Rainbow’ in her kitty.
