Coolie starring Rajinikanth is one of the most awaited flicks of Kollywood. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film also stars Nagarjuna, Upendra and Aamir Khan playing pivotal roles. For Coolie, Lokesh Kanagaraj officially stated that he does not want to work under release date pressure. So, he made a request to the producers, and they agreed to it. Because of this, the release date is announced after the entire shoot is completed.
Lokesh also takes significant time for post-production work, ensuring there are no last-minute hurdles. Now, the news is that the entire work for the first half has been completed and locked. Rajinikanth is said to have watched the first half and reportedly loved it.
Rajinikanth is learnt to have been extremely impressed with the output of the film, also appreciating Lokesh Kanagaraj. This is indeed a big booster for the team and especially Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Coolie is releasing on 14th August worldwide. The trade believes that the film has all the chances of grossing more than 1000 crores worldwide. There are huge expectations on the film and if everything goes well the film may very well enter the 1000 crore club.
