SS Rajamouli recently commended a cleanliness initiative in Deomali, Odisha, after discovering trash along the trail during his solo hike to the summit. He mentioned this issue after finishing his trek, and now Rajamouli’s request has been approved by Orissa Government.

Orissa Government response to Rajamouli’s Tweet

Recently, he took a solo trek to Deomali, the tallest peak in Odisha, where he found it “disheartening” to see trash along the trail. In response, a cleanliness campaign has been launched at the hill station. The Orrisa Government approved Rajamouli’s request and started the cleanliness initiative.

Taking to X (formerly called Twitter), SS Rajmouli praised a cleanliness initiative at Deomali, a hill station in the Koraput district of Odisha. He wrote, “Grateful to see efforts like these taking shape… Thank you sir for highlighting this. Let’s keep working to protect our natural treasures for the future. The authorities should take necessary steps to keep it clean, and every step towards responsible tourism counts!”

SS Rajamouli re-shared a post that was initially made by Suparno Satpathy, a socio-political leader from Odisha, featuring images from a cleanliness drive.
