Rajamouli makes Indian cinema proud.. Wins best director at Newyork film critics circle award

S.S. Rajamouli, the director of the Telugu action epic RRR gets walked away with the Best Director award at today’s New York Film Critics Circle Awards. The film, which has already had created a phenomenon worldwide, portrays a fictionalized tale about the real-life freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju’s exploits against British colonists in 1920s India.

After receiving many accolades, awards, and recognition in the west, this award is another feather in the much-decorated cap of SS Rajamouli. NYFCC Awards are highly prestigious, as the New York Film Critics Circle Awards comprise a jury carried out of some of the most regarded Hollywood film critics.

The NYFCC was established in 1935 and includes artists from weekly and regular magazines, newspapers, and online publications.

With this success, the pathway to the Oscars has one extra stride closer for RRR. What looked like an impractical dream earlier is showing pretty attainable with each running day.

RRR movie’s progress becomes been a striking journey, and it has made surely every Indian film audience pleased and glad with its tremendous attention and acknowledgment.
