PVR To Launch Luxury Cinema Experience In Hyderabad

PVR Cinemas will launch more screens in Hyderabad, and other Big Cities

Meanwhile, PVR Cinemas is having a better year in 2025. Hindi and Hollywood movies did really well at the box office, helping PVR INOX cut down their net loss to ₹54 crore in the June quarter, a big drop from ₹179 crore during the same time last year. 

Revenue from operations jumped 23.3% to reach ₹1,469.1 crore. This quarter, 10 movies hit the ₹100 crore milestone, and three of them even surpassed ₹200 crores at the box office. In FY26, they are looking to roll out 90-100 new screens, and they have already launched 24 of them.

The top movie chain reported a 38% jump in Bollywood box office earnings compared to last year, thanks to films like Raid 2, Sitaare Zameen Par, Kesari Chapter 2, Housefull 5, and Jaat. 

Hollywood box office earnings for the multiplex chain jumped 72% year-over-year, thanks to hits like Mission Impossible, Final Destination Bloodlines, and F1. Regional films held their ground thanks to Good Bad Ugly, Thudarum, and Tourist Family.
