Pushpa 2 Telugu version is underperforming in America. From the beginning stage itself, somehow Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule is underperforming in America. The film was expected to break all records with the premiers, but it failed to beat Kalki’s opening. Even after that, with a strong performance from the Hindi version, the overall number looks good, but if we see only the Telugu version, the numbers are not that huge.
For the weekend the Telugu version collected $6.23M and on Monday it fell to $100K so there is no chance for the Telugu version to go in the $10M range. Looking at the trend, it even may end up in the range of 8M at max whereas the Kalki has collected closer to 13M in only the Telugu version in America. The plus point for pushpa2 is strong Hindi performance. Overall, for 5 days in North America, all versions’ gross is closer to 10M, and breakeven is valued at another 5M, The Hindi version only will pull the numbers now from here.
