A 100 minute footage was trimmed from Pushpa 2. Since the release of Pushpa 2: The Rule, the audiences have discussed a lot of the film’s length and the ending of the movie being a bit abrupt. Especially, whoever watched the the film was unclear about Japan’s fight as there was no lead for that sequence in the film. But, it is being reported that Sukumar had shot a lot of scenes and many scenes from the film were trimmed during the final cut, including the scenes of Shekhawat.
There is a buzz that a 100 minute footage has been trimmed before the censor, and the final censored runtime itself came to 200 minutes. So, if the trimming did not happen, Pushpa 2 itself would have been a two part film. As of now, Sukumar is not in the mood to stretch the Pushpa series as of now. But we need to see how things unfold later. Then trimmed footage can be used for Pushpa 3 but its all up to Sukumar’s decision.
Sukumar and Allu Arjun have put 6 years into the Pushpa series and finally came out of it with Pushpa 2’s release. We need to wait and see whether they continue with Pushpa or not.
