The most challenging role in any field and mainly the field of Filmmaking, is production. If the movie does well, nothing better. But if the movie does average numbers or even decent and the worst case, if the film is deemed a flop, then there are losses galore.
Ultimately, the producer bears the burden or the profit. The actors involved or the directors involved are usually pretty safe from the movie’s result.
In that case, when actors and directors are continuously changing their schedules, it is becoming a huge task for the producers. This is currently the biggest issue at hand.
Some actors are not standing up to their commitments and are asking for schedule postponements. And in the same realm, the directors are switching between multiple films, leading to postponements once again. Most directors are also changing the script at the last minute, which again leads to delays.
In all of this, it is the producer that is ultimately suffering. Because, it is not easy to manage the dates for artists, especially the top stars. Due to this, there is a lot of pressure and stress. Hopefully, there is some resolution to this as this is a negative trend that is slowly emerging in TFI.
