Rishab Shetty’s spiritual action drama Kantara: Chapter 1 is all set for its OTT release. Prime Video, one of India’s top streaming platforms, officially announced the film’s streaming date on its social media pages.
The movie, starring Rishab Shetty, will be available to stream from October 31 in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. However, the Hindi version will be released later, most likely by the end of November, following the rules set by the Multiplex Association of India.
Celebrated as a proud achievement for the Kannada film industry, Kantara: Chapter 1 is a prequel to the original Kantara. The film also features Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, and Jayaram in key roles. It is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films, with music composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.
