The Tamil film industry’s biggest film, Rajinikanth-Kamal Haasan’s multistarrer, was confirmed by both stars a few months ago. There was talk that director/actor Pradeep Ranganathan will direct the much-awaited Rajini-Kamal multistarrer, which he denied in a recent interview.

Produced by Red Giant Movies and Kamal Haasan’s RKFI, Kollywood’s biggest multistarrer was confirmed to be made under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj. But the team started looking for other options later due to many reasons.

Directors like Karthik Subbaraj, Pa Ranjith, and a few others were rumored in the industry to helm this film. Pradeep Ranganathan, who shifted from director to actor, was also mentioned as a potential choice for the Rajini-Kamal multistarrer.

“I’m not directing the Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan multistarrer. I’m not taking it up because I’m currently focused on acting. At this moment, I can’t confirm whether I’ve been offered that film.”

With this, everyone understood that the Love Today and Dragon actor was also one among the list of the directors for the biggest film of Tamil cinema.

There is another buzz in the industry circles that Kamal Haasan still believes Lokesh Kangaraj is the right person to handle this project, but we need to wait and see finally who will make it.
