Prabhas’s Project K is all set to create the history and proud moment for Indian cinema

The much-anticipated high-budget Indian science fiction film, currently known as Project K, is all set to create the history and make the Indian Cinema proud by unveiling an exclusive footage of it in the presence of talent at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC).

Produced by C. Ashwini Dutt’s Vyjayanthi Movies, the film is directed by “Mahanati” fame Nag Ashwin and stars an huge ensemble of star cast in the form of Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani.

Starting the SDCC celebration, Vyjayanthi Movies will show a glimpse from the film as a part of an opening night party on July 19. On July 20, the Project K team will host a panel titled “This is Project K: First Glimpse of India’s Mythology-Sci-fi Epic” with Deepika Padukone, Prabhas and Kamal Haasan during which the film’s full title, teaser trailer and release date will be revealed. It is also said that the stars will feature in a performance on SDCC’s largest stage.

“This exclusive event will transport guests into India’s most ambitious cinematic universe yet with their captivating storytelling, futuristic setting, and ‘Spice Punk’ aesthetic inspired by the film,” the producers said in a statement. This is the first time ever feat by an Indian film and indeed, Project K will create a history with this.

Prabhas has became a Pan Indian star after S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise. His latest film “Adipurush,” which was released recently in the theaters, became a massive failure at the box office after having a good first weekend. Actress Deepika Padukone starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan in “Pathaan,” the all-time biggest hit of Bollywood.

Kamal Haasan who will be seen in the antagonist role in Project K, starred in and produced “Vikram,” one of the biggest hits of 2022, and he has “Indian 2” set to be released next year. Amitabh Bachchan starred in films like “Uunchai” and “Brahmastra Part One: Shiva,” while Patani was last seen in “Ek Villain Returns” (2022) before Project K.
