Director Om Raut and Prabhas’s Adipurush movie will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, announced on Tuesday. The makers have announced big news on social media last night. The fans of Prabhas and Telugu Film audience felt very excited after getting to know this news.
Adipurush’s teaser, which was released last year, was criticized by the netizens upon its release due to the low quality visual effects. However, Raut had promised that his ambitious adaptation of Ramayana will leave the fans with no complaints upon the film hitting the big screens.
Speaking about the film premiering at Tribeca, Om Raut said in a statement, “Adipurush is not a film, it is an emotion, a sentiment! It is our vision of a story that resonates with the very spirit of India. This very premiere at Tribeca Festival is truly surreal for me as well as the entire team as we get to showcase a story at global stage that has been very ingrained in our culture. We are truly thrilled and excited to see audiences’ reaction at the world premiere.”
Adipurush is currently in the post-production stage. It is set for a grand release on June 16th in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair produced the film under the banners T-Series Films and Retrophiles Production.
