Prabhas Walks Out of Prasanth Varma Project?

An official announcement regarding the shooting schedule and other details will be made at the right time. As per sources close to the team, the rumours about Prabhas and Prasanth Varma's film are false and it will begin only after their current projects are completed.

Pan-Indian star Prabhas had earlier committed to a project with HanuMan director Prasanth Varma, which was officially confirmed by the director himself. However, the film seems to be facing a big roadblock now.

According to industry reports, a photoshoot for the film had also taken place a few months ago. However, the latest buzz suggests that the movie has been cancelled due to Prabhas’s other work commitments, and the actor has reportedly walked out of the project.

Prabhas is currently one of the busiest actors in Indian cinema. He is shooting for two major films — The Raja Saab and Fauji. After completing these, he is expected to move on to Spirit, followed by Kalki 2 and Salaar 2.

Interestingly, both Fauji and The Raja Saab are said to be franchise films, which means the Baahubali star will remain occupied for the next few years, making it difficult for him to take on any new projects soon.

There are also reports suggesting that there might be other reasons behind Prabhas opting out of Prasanth Varma’s film.

Unfortunately, Prasanth Varma’s recent projects seem to be facing a streak of cancellations. He had earlier started a film with Ranveer Singh, which was shelved soon after. Later, his collaboration with Balakrishna’s son, Mokshagna, was also called off. Now, if the rumours are true, even the Prabhas project has met the same fate.

For now, Prasanth Varma is expected to focus on his next ambitious venture, Jai Hanuman, and fans are eagerly waiting to see when the film will officially begin.
