Prabhas’ Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel is less than a month away from its theatrical release. The anticipation is at an all-time high with both fans and trade circles setting extremely high expectations on Prabhas to make a massive comeback with this project.
The Telugu states’ theatrical business has been closed and here are the details. For Nizam, makers quoted 75Cr, 35Cr for Ceeded, and Rs 100Cr for Andhra. Homable Films expected a Rs 200Cr range business from Telugu states but the buyers are not ready to give those bigger amounts and now the business is closing at comparatively lower prices than quoted. Ceeded closed for 25Cr and for Andhra also, the ratio is now changed to Rs 75Cr – 80Cr. The Nizam region is in discussions for around 60Cr. This brings the total Telugu states business in the range of 160Cr – 165Cr now.
Prabhas’ Salaar is one of the most anticipated movies of this year and the promotions of this Prashanth Neel film is expected to start in a couple of weeks. The film stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathy Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Easwari Rao in key roles.
It will hit the screens worldwide on 28th September. The movie takes place in a Mafia-dominated world of organized crime. Prabhas, as Salaar is a man on a mission to fulfill a promise made to his dying friend. As expected the movie will be high on action and the recent reports suggest that some of the fights in the movie are shot on a scale never even imagined in Indian cinema.
