Prabhas has three major projects lined up, with Fauzi, Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 and Spirit progressing on different schedules. The ongoing schedule of Fauzi has reportedly wrapped, with the next one expected to begin in the first week of November for around 20 days. The team plans to shoot a fight sequence and a montage song, bringing the film close to completion. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the period action drama is set in the 1940s and features Prabhas as a soldier. Originally planned for December 3, 2026, the film was postponed and is now targeting the first half of 2027, with March 18 being discussed as a possible date. Mythri has also confirmed that special content, though not the teaser, will be released on Prabhas’s birthday, October 23.
Kalki 2: Regular Shoot Resumes
Meanwhile, Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 is reportedly preparing to resume regular shooting this weekend in Hyderabad, with the initial schedule expected to last five to six days before the team moves to Mumbai. The sequel began filming in February with Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, but production subsequently went on a break as the makers awaited Prabhas’s dates for a longer schedule. Deepika Padukone, who played Sumathi in the first instalment, has exited the project, and Sai Pallavi is reportedly being considered as her replacement, although the makers have yet to confirm the casting officially. Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the sequel is targeting a 2028 release, with filming reportedly planned to wrap by mid-2027.
Prabhas To Join Spirit In Nov
Prabhas is also expected to join Spirit for a four-day schedule towards the end of November, while director Sandeep Reddy Vanga plans to complete portions featuring the other cast members. The action drama marks the first collaboration between Prabhas and the director of Arjun Reddy and Animal, with Triptii Dimri playing the female lead. The film was originally scheduled for March 5, 2027, but reports suggest it could now arrive in the second half of 2027. If these plans hold, Prabhas could have two releases in 2027—Fauzi and Spirit—followed by Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 in 2028. After The RajaSaab underperformed at the box office, the three projects represent an important phase in the actor’s career, although their schedules and release windows remain subject to change.
