On Prabhas’s birthday, the team released an audio teaser, which instantly boosted the buzz and made Spirit one of the most anticipated upcoming films. Fans are especially eager to see Prabhas in the role of a police officer, a fresh avatar for the actor.
Last Sunday, the film’s Pooja ceremony was held with Chiranjeevi as the chief guest. Prabhas also attended, but the team chose not to reveal his look, as he will appear in a special avatar in the movie. Finally, after months of anticipation, Prabhas has joined the shoot of Spirit, with reports suggesting that a major fight sequence is currently being filmed.
Known for his meticulous planning, Sandeep Reddy Vanga ensures that shooting schedules are tight and he spends more time on post-production. The makers expect to wrap up filming by summer 2026, though Vanga is known to spend significant time on post-production. As a result, Spirit is likely to hit theaters in the first half of 2027.
