Ram Charan’s Peddi, which was initially announced for an April 30 release, is now facing major uncertainty and will be postponed. Several crucial works are still pending, making it extremely difficult for the team to meet the scheduled deadline.
Post-Production Delays Force Rescheduling
At the same time, postponing the film is not an easy decision either. The team is finding it difficult to lock a suitable new release date, and multiple renegotiations are also required before taking the next step.
Both the producers and lead actor Ram Charan are keen to avoid yet another delay. Director Buchi Babu has been putting in strong efforts to push the project forward, but the current situation appears almost impossible to manage within the given timeline.
Music director A. R. Rahman has reportedly made it clear that the remaining work cannot be completed in such a short span of time. Similar delays are said to be affecting other departments as well.
New Release Date Expected Soon
Considering all these challenges, the team behind Peddi has now decided to postpone the film. An official announcement is expected soon, with plans to hold a press meet after finalizing the new release date.
As of now, the film is most likely to hit the screens in June or July 2026. The team has been working to meet tight deadlines since February, but post-production requirements need adequate time for quality output.
Peddi marks the collaboration between Ram Charan and director Buchi Babu, with expectations running high among fans and industry observers.
