In a major update for movie lovers, Ram Charan‘s much-awaited film Peddi has been officially postponed. Originally scheduled to hit theatres on April 30, the makers have confirmed that the release has been pushed to June 2026.
The production house shared an official statement confirming the change in plans and thanked the audience for the tremendous response to the film’s songs and glimpses released so far. According to the team, the talkie portion of the film has been completed, and only one song is left to be shot.
Official Statement Confirms the Delay
This news was already doing the rounds in industry circles, but today, the makers made it official. The team said that it would take a little more time to ensure Peddi is presented in the best possible way on the big screen.
The statement further mentioned that the additional time will help the technicians and post-production team deliver the film with absolute perfection, promising audiences nothing short of a grand theatrical experience. Just weeks ago, Ram Charan had confirmed the April 30 date, making this official postponement a significant shift.
June Release Window — Exact Date Soon
While the shift from April 30 may disappoint fans who were counting down the days, the team has assured that the exact new release date in June will be announced very soon. With the remaining song shoot underway and post-production in full swing, the makers are focused on delivering a polished final product.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi marks a highly anticipated collaboration between the Tollywood superstar and the talented filmmaker.
