Peddi Box Office Target: ₹220 Cr Breakeven Amid Soaring Hype

A massive target at the box office for Ram Charan's Peddi.

With the trailer release date nearing and all major business deals already closed, the hype surrounding Peddi has reached the next level. Ram Charan‘s highly anticipated collaboration with director Buchi Babu Sana now faces one of the biggest box office challenges for a Telugu film.

₹220 Crore Breakeven Target

The Telugu theatrical breakeven for Peddi is reportedly estimated to be around ₹220 crore share. So far, only four films have crossed the ₹220 crore share mark in the Telugu version: RRR, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Pushpa 2: The Rule, and Kalki 2898 AD.

This means Peddi will need to secure an all-time top 5 position at the box office to achieve breakeven status, making the challenge extremely huge.

Commercial Elements and Natural Storytelling

Director Buchi Babu Sana and the film’s technicians recently shared in interviews that Peddi will feature strong commercial elements while staying rooted and natural in its storytelling. They also hinted at several shocking moments that are expected to surprise audiences.

If the film’s content lives up to the extraordinary hype, Peddi has the potential to set the box office on fire and register unimaginable collections worldwide.
